Red Connotes; Blood/Hell, Romance Betrayal 

White Connotes; Good, Pale Mentally Ill People

Brown Connotes; Dried Up Blood

Blue Connotes; Coldness/Ghosts

Main image; Low angle shots, close ups of the man, mode of address- the antagonist will be posed so you cannot see their whole face- this is to build suspense. 

Typography: Scary old fonts that may use blood, bones, barbed wire etc...

Lexis: Words associated with horror e.g. 'nightmare' 'evil' or words associated with loss or being lost like 'missing' 'one wrong turn.'

And These colours, (black, red, brown and white) coyote horror. These colours connote horror, and this means when fans of horror see them, they're going to most likely be attracted.
